Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps us maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
We use this limited information to operate the site, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create profiles of individual visitors.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Maryland government portals, Montgomery County offices, library collections, and outside search tools. Information submitted on those services is controlled by their privacy terms, not ours. The same is true for sponsored search results supplied by an outside company.
Who May Receive Information
Hosting and support vendors process logs for us, while analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We also disclose information when valid legal process requires it. Visitor information is not otherwise shared.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only for as long as the purposes above require. Because visitor accounts are not offered, we hold no account password or user profile.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such data so it can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Chapter 455, effective October 1, 2025, grants covered consumers rights that include access, correction, deletion, and certain opt-outs, subject to the Act’s scope and exceptions. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for a request because little visitor data is retained. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public information is excluded from MODPA, so government records held by Montgomery County or Maryland remain outside our control. Questions about access or correction of those records belong with the custodian under the Maryland Public Information Act, General Provisions Title 4, or another governing statute.
